Oakura Bay Area Guide
Oakura Bay covers a stretch of sheltered beach nestling just below its more famous cousins in the Bay of Islands on Northland's east coast.As you might expect, there are plenty of water-related activities to keep you occupied, including fishing and diving charters and the usual array of beachfront activities (windsurfing, kayaking etc.).
The small community offers holiday homes, self-catering accommodation, and camping and caravan facilities.
